Planning a Water raid

Best Weather for Kyogre in Pokémon GO

Kyogre’s target weather is Rainy. Its Water type is boosted by Rainy weather alongside Electric and Bug types.

Choose between Now and 24h

Playing soon? Search for Kyogre in Now mode and compare the listed cities. For a later raid, select 24h and inspect the estimated Rainy windows in each city’s local time.

Matching hours do not necessarily form a single continuous window. Open the result details to compare the different windows and check again before playing.

What if the boss is Primal Kyogre?

Primal Reversion describes the boss’s form. Official support says a Primal Raid Boss returns to its regular form before the encounter. Check the encountered Pokémon and the in-game weather icon.

Rain outside does not always mean Rainy in-game

A weather app and Pokémon GO can show different conditions. Use PogoWeather to plan, then confirm the category in Pokémon GO. A forecast also does not establish that a raid is available.
