GO Fest Preparation
GO Fest Weather Boost Preparation Checklist
Before a major Pokémon GO event like GO Fest, it is useful to prepare a simple weather boost plan. You do not need to check every city manually. A small checklist can help you focus on the Pokémon that matter most and the weather conditions that boost them.
Step 1: List your priority Pokémon
Start with the Pokémon you actually want to raid or catch. Common event priorities include Rayquaza, Necrozma, Kyogre, Groudon, Darkrai, Mewtwo and other limited-time Pokémon. Each target has a specific weather boost category.
Step 2: Match each Pokémon to its best weather
Rayquaza, Necrozma and Mewtwo are linked to Windy weather. Kyogre is linked to Rainy weather. Groudon is linked to Clear weather. Darkrai is linked to Fog weather. Knowing this before the event saves time.
Step 3: Use PogoWeather before the event window
Open PogoWeather and search your priority Pokémon. Compare the cities that appear as boosted and write down a few options. During the event, recheck the same Pokémon because hourly weather blocks can change the result.
Step 4: Watch difficult weather categories
Windy, Fog and Cloudy are often the hardest to predict. Rainy and Clear can be easier, but they can still differ from the in-game weather. Use the weather details as a guide and verify in Pokémon GO when possible.
Step 5: Keep notes
If you notice a mismatch, write down the city, time, Pokémon GO weather and PogoWeather result. This helps improve future predictions and makes the tool more useful for other players.
